ReeFlowers Ionic Mineral Salt , is an ocean salt that is free of sodium chloride. It contains ionic minerals and trace elements naturally found in seawater. There are many trace elements in sea water that are constantly consumed by corals, fish and other aquatic organisms. These elements need to be replenished on a regular basis in order to keep living organisms in aquariums healthy and to keep their colors bright.
INSTRUCTIONS
Consumption rates are different for each aquarium. After measuring the calcium consumption using periodic testing, add 1 gr of Ionic Mineral Salt (1 ml Ionic Mineral Salt = ~ 1,4 gr) per 100 lt water to compensate for 10 ppm Calcium consumption (= ~ 3 gr Pure Calcium). The suggested quantity should be dissolved in fresh water and added to the sump.
If more than a 10 ml per 100 lt solution is needed on a daily basis, then it is recommended that the addition be done using a dosing pump and following the balling method.
Measurement cap volume = 20 ml
