ReeFlowers AquaPlants Nitrate, is a highly concentrated nitrate solution. It has been specially formulated particularly for aquarium plants and contains a minimum of 65,000 ppm of nitrate per liter.
Nitrate is one of the basic elements plants need for development. Nitrate is converted into amino acids within plant cells, affecting cell division and hence plant growth and the germination of new leaves. It increases chlorophyll concentration, giving plants a rich, green color. A nitrate deficiency will cause old leaves to turn yellow. Failing to meet the minimum requirements will cause all leaves and stems to turn yellow over time and will even loss of plants.
INSTRUCTIONS
It is recommended to use a daily dosage of 1 ml per 100 lt in a freshwater aquarium with medium plant density. 1 ml solution causes a 0.65 ppm increase in 100 lt of water.
85 ml bottle - 20 drops = 1 ml
250 ml, 500 ml & 1000 ml bottles - 1 cap = 6 ml
