ReeFlowers Caledonia Mineral Salt is produced in conformity with the average consumption of aquatics. There is at least 750.000 ppm (42.000 dkH) CO3, 250.000 ppm calcium, 15.000 ppm magnesium, and 10.000 ppm potassium in 1 kg.
Sea water contains many elements that are constantly consumed by coral, fish, and all other aquatics. These elements need to be replenished on a regular basis in order to keep living organisms in aquariums healthy and to keep their colors bright.
INSTRUCTIONS
A daily addition of 1 gr per average-loaded aquarium is recommended. Since the level of consumption varies between aquariums, kH, calcium and magnesium consumption levels in long term use should be monitored using periodical tests and amount to be used should specifically be adjusted to aquarium. 10 gr of Caledonia Mineral Salt provides an increase of 3,5 dkH, 25 ppm calcium, 1,6 ppm magnesium, 1 ppm potassium in 100 liters. The prescribed amount should be added to SUMP after being dissolved in fresh water. If the need for 100 liters exceeds 5 gr per day, then a switch to balling method is recommended.
